Details
On each of the dates above, AYP will deliver a structured games session at The Welfare. Participants will have the chance to play pickleball and other organised sporty games on both the courts and the open field.

NB. With a World Cup theme on 22nd July, participants can also choose to have football‑themed face painted too (consent will be required).
With a Caribbean theme on 12th August, participants can also enjoy a Caribbean twist with mocktails and Caribbean‑style games too!
(Hula skirts can be worn over sporty gear, of course!)

Meet at the entrance gates of The Welfare at 1pm and collect from the same place at 3pm.

In the event of poor weather, we will run an indoor games session at AYP instead. We will contact everyone beforehand to let you know if this is the case.

An open public session will follow the structured session . This means the team will stay around the Welfare and give other children and young people who are around a chance for some sporting fun too. Participants do not need to register for this, and they can also come and go as they please.
The Open Public Session will start at 3.15pm (or shortly after) and will finish around 4.15pm, when the team will start to pack up.

Children from the structured session are welcome to stay on, but please note other members of the public will be present and all involved will be able to come and go as they please.

If the earlier structured session is run in AYP due to the weather – this open session will not happen

Additional Information
For the structured session, refreshments will be provided but children may prefer to bring their own water bottles.
If the weather is good, we advise applying sun cream beforehand and bringing sun hats.

Please note: toilet access is in the pavilion, where at least one team member with a DBS Enhanced check will support participants walking to and from the pavilion

There is no access to the toilets during the Open Public Session
