Activity
Family Evening Fun
Date
Thursday 27th August
Ages
All the family – all ages
Time
5.30pm – 7.30pm
Location
St Cuthberts Parish Hall, Dovecote Street, Amble
Details
A time for families to enjoy being together, and even a bit of family challenge
The session includes a mini quiz, individual challenges and team games —something to draw on the mixed strengths of your family team - almost a “S.A.U.C.E for all the family”. We may even bring back the parents (or grandparents) race from the old sports day !
We especially welcome families with children aged 7 who may like to get to know us a little ahead of their 8th birthday when they can then join us for our activities
Can you try to make the family teams no more than 6 people per team. Larger family groups may like to split into two teams and even create your own friendly inter‑family competition!
Hot dogs (including a veggie option) will be available, and to celebrate our Allotment Project, supper will include some seasonal delights. Please feel free to bring your own food if that better suits your family’s preferences.
Can we ask that you help us with this event and if you are able to give a donation, maybe even just £1 per family group member over the age of 8 ? It would be very much appreciated – but certainly not compulsory.
Donations can simply be placed in the donation box on the evening.
Additional Information
Please feel free to bring your own food if that better suits your family’s preferences.
